Alarm installation terms and conditions -
Order process and preparing for your installation. |

By ordering an installed alarm with us you agree
to the terms and conditions below. |
|
The alarm installer will contact you within 24 hours
of ordering Monday to Friday excluding holidays to arrange installation.
|
Installation will normally take place within 7 days
for ordering but is not guaranteed.
|
Alarms for installation are normally supplied by the installer or we may
deliver direct to you prior to the installer arriving depending on the
installers work load and stock.
|
|
Orders are for a standard alarm installation as
decided by the installer when at the property. |
|
Your property must be in a safe well maintained
condition ready for the alarm installation to take place. |
Alarm installations do not include the removal of old
and existing alarm systems, fitting of additional power, telephone
points
or ADSL
filters .
|
Live fully working power and telephone points must be
readily available for the installer to use at the time of installation.
|
|
Telephone master socket and electrical power
services must be available with 2 metres of the location for control panel
installation. 4 Metres for Infinite external siren. |
|
Extra charges will be may be required to fit
additional or extend existing power and /or telephone points at the installers
discretion at time of installation. |
|
Vehicle parking,
congestion charges or any other similar fees are not covered by the installation
service. Any costs resulting (e.g. meter parking) should be paid to the engineer
directly at the time of installation. |
|

|
SIM cards are to be purchased by the
customer in advance of any GSM alarm system installation. |
|
You should ensure the mobile network operator
you select has coverage in the area that the alarm will be installed. |
|
SIM cards must be active and have credit for
testing and operational purposes. |
|
SIM cards from Three are not suitable for use
with the majority of security systems. |
|
|
|
Checklist. Please inform us prior to ordering if
any of the following apply to your property where installation is to take place. |
|
Are there any
known traces of asbestos in the property? |
|
Will the installer have to work at a height greater
than 6 meters? |
|
Are there any
access restrictions to the property? |
|
Are there any
hazards which could affect the engineer? (eg animals, ponds?) |
|
Please ensure
your loft area
is accessible, boarded with lighting. |
|
We must be made aware of any additional information that may
effect your alarm installation, the safety of the engineer or services that may
require additional charges. |
