Traditionally wireless alarm systems do not have constantly flashing comfort LEDs.  Comfort LEDs show any passers by that your burglar alarm is live, working and you have taken proper measures to protect your property. Wireless alarms conserve the external siren battery energy by not having this feature. Do not confuse a comfort LED with a flashing strobe light. A flashing strobe light is only active when then alarm siren or bellbox sounder has been activated due to the alarm system being set off. This has always been a standard part of any alarm bellbox or siren.

Constantly flashing comfort LEDs on an external siren or bellbox are an extremely effective visual deterrent to potential intruders. Constantly flashing comfort LEDs were only found on hard wired systems until now.
