1. Consumer Returns – Your Right to Cancel
This section applies only if you are purchasing as a Consumer (not for business use).
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after you receive your Goods.
How to Cancel
-
You must notify us in writing by email within the 14-day cancellation period.
-
You then have a further 14 days to return the Goods to us.
-
Return postage costs are your responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
Goods must be returned unused, complete and in reasonable condition.
You may inspect Goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a retail shop.
2. Deductions From Consumer Refunds
We do not charge fixed restocking fees to Consumers exercising their statutory cancellation rights.
However, if returned Goods show evidence of handling beyond reasonable inspection — including installation, activation, prolonged use, missing components, damage or materially degraded packaging — we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the resulting loss in value.
-
Deductions will always be fair and proportionate.
-
Where loss in value is substantial, deductions may be up to a maximum of 30% of the purchase price.
-
Where Goods are unused and resaleable but require inspection, testing, repackaging or administration, a reasonable handling deduction may apply, capped at 25% and reflective of actual costs incurred.
-
No deduction will exceed the value of the Goods.
Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned Goods.
3. Consumer Cancellation Exclusions
The statutory right to cancel does not apply to:
-
Goods made to order or personalised
-
Goods configured, programmed or activated to order (including SIM cards and connectivity services)
-
Sealed Goods which are not suitable for return due to health or safety reasons once unsealed
-
Digital content once download or activation has begun
4. SIM Cards & Activated Network Services – Important
SIM cards may be activated, provisioned, configured or registered on a mobile network immediately upon order processing.
Once a SIM has been activated or provisioned:
-
Network charges and third-party costs are incurred and cannot be reversed. Contract charges from the mobile network provider are non refundable.
By purchasing SIM products, you acknowledge and consent to activation commencing immediately.
5. Business Customer Returns
This section applies to purchases made for business purposes.
Business Customers do not have an automatic right to cancel once an order has been accepted.
Any return must be approved in writing by Quicksafe in advance.
Restocking Charges
-
All approved returns are subject to a minimum restocking charge of 25% of the original invoice value.
-
Where Goods show evidence of use, installation, activation, damage, missing components or altered packaging, a restocking charge of up to 30% applies.
Return Shipping
-
All returns must be made at the Business Customer’s own cost.
-
Returns must be sent using a fully tracked and insured delivery service.
-
Risk remains with the Business Customer until the Goods are received and signed for by us.
Custom-built, configured, programmed or activated Goods (including SIM cards and network services) are non-returnable.
Refunds or credits are issued only after inspection and approval.
6. Faulty Goods & Warranty
All products supplied by Quicksafe Security Limited carry a standard 12-month warranty from the date of delivery unless stated otherwise in writing.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
If your Goods are faulty:
-
Consumers are entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including repair, replacement or refund where applicable.
-
Business Customers should contact us promptly for assessment and warranty handling.
The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, third-party equipment failures or network service issues.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
